The Steward’s Staff aims to empower youth to fully engage youth with our communities through the democratic process.  We aim to equip youth with deductive reasoning skills which will prevent them from bringing harm onto themselves or displacing harm onto others because they are not sure how to assess their emotions.

We are deeply pained by the recent phenomena of terroristic acts of violence widely adapted by youth in our nation because they were not listened to or because they were bullied.  We want to reach those youth who may contemplate these violent acts, and we also want to equip other youth to identify persons capable of this violence.  Lastly, we aim to empower youth to cultivate positive relationships on school campuses that will ultimately prevent these unnecessary acts of violence.

The Steward’s Staff aims to empower the next generation’s members of society and community and business leaders to think critically, ethically and with compassion.  We aim to empower youth to build productive, sustainable communities through their care for their fellow man.

The first of this series of discussions will be held at the Kentucky Metro United Way, located at 334 East Broadway in the Community Room on the second floors. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the dialogue.  The My World Talks series seeks to initiate candid dialogue and healing amongst races. Twelve members from diverse generational and ethnic backgrounds serve on this committee from the Social Awareness arm of The Steward’s Staff.  At this time many have registered to attend the dialogue and social gathering immediately following the small group discussion at Fourth Street Live!  The Steward’s Staff vision is of a world in which every person is equipped with the necessary skills to combat various social obstacles which may impair individuals from obtaining their goals.  The Steward’s Staff is dedicated to empowering individuals through leadership development, community engagement, and positive reinforcement of self-awareness and esteem; thereby, ultimately creating a unified world.  For more information and to register, please call The Steward's Staff at (502) 742-6927 or visit www.stewardstaff.org.
